Miele tumble dryers feature ground-breaking, patented Honeycomb Care technology. Compared to the Honeycomb Drum that is exclusive to Miele washing machines where the hexagons point inwards, the special feature in the tumble dryer is that the hexagons point outward. This unique design creates ingenious air pockets that gently catch and cushion the laundry as it tumbles to the bottom of the drum. Your fabrics have less contact friction with the stainless drum, thereby reducing wear— you'll have less creasing after drying, making ironing a snap! Not only that, but compared to other drums, the Honeycomb Drum in a Miele tumble dryer raises your fabrics higher in the drum prior to tumbling. This allows the laundry to hover longer in the warm air stream and leads to an improved air- and humidity-exchange. The result is a more uniform drying result with less strain on fabrics.... and, again, less creasing! |
